LAPS News:
Dr. Steve Joel and Dr. Judy Sclair-Stein, search consultants with the McPherson and Jacobson Search Firm, will be hosting a Community Stakeholder Meeting 5-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4.
Join the Zoom meeting here.
This is an opportunity for members of the community to voice their criteria for the next superintendent of Los Alamos Public Schools.
The Los Alamos School Board hired McPherson and Jacobson last summer to conduct the search for a new superintendent following the retirement of Dr. Kurt Steinhaus after six years in the role.
“The search firm wants to hear from many stakeholders as part of this process,” Interim Superintendent Jennifer Guy said. “The board values everyone’s input as they consider the qualities and experiences of our next superintendent.”
The consultants also will meet with other stakeholder groups, including teachers, support staff, principals, students and community leaders.
