The scene of a protest underway this morning on N.M. 4 near Pajarito Road. Protestors are voicing opposition to Los Alamos National Laboratory’s (LANL) COVID-19 vaccine mandate. LANL Director Thom Mason issued a memo to employees in September saying, ‘All employees who begin the vaccination series prior to Oct. 1 will be able to continue employment while becoming fully vaccinated, provided they comply with all requirements related to COVID-19, including prompt completion of the vaccination process.
