ALVAH E. MILLER March 17, 1935 – Dec. 1, 2021

Alvah E. Miller, born March 17, 1935, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021.

Alvah was born in South Dakota and was a long time New Mexico resident. Alvah was a loving and dedicated husband and father. 

He enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school – serving 23 years. Then was employed by NRAO-VLA and retired from Los Alamos National Laboratories in Los Alamos, NM.

Alvah is survived by his children, Alicia, Andrew and wife, Sharon, and Annette; grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Justin, and Shayla Miller. Alvah is also survived by his siblings, Eleanor Anderson, Lorin and wife, Diana Miller, Frances and husband, Roger Swalve, and Murial Lind.

Also left behind were many beloved extended family and friends. Alvah was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey C. Miller; by his father, Emil Miller; and mother, Lorraine Miller; and siblings, LeRoy Miller and Rosemary Schneider. 

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at FRENCH – Westside. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alvah’s name to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
