LAMS News:
The Los Alamos Middle School (LAMS) PTO is planning a winter staff appreciation luncheon but needs the community’s help.
Donations are needed for the luncheon, which will be held Dec. 14.
Items needed include:
- Food (side dishes and desserts). The PTO is providing enchiladas;
- Drinks;
- Paper products; and
- Gift cards, totaling $10.
Help also is needed with setup, serving and cleanup.

To deliver the gift cards, either drop them off at the middle school office or give them to a student. For electronic gift cards, email them PTO Treasurer Mhairi McKay-Smith at lamsptotreasurer@gmail.com. Gift cards are needed by Dec. 10.
To donate food and other items for the lunch, drop off nonperishable items anytime at the LAMS office for eighth grade Teacher and PTO Secretary Jill Gross. Food, drinks and other supplies can be delivered by 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Dishes should be labeled with donor’s name and phone number if they would like them returned.
