Los Alamos Retail Accelerator’s 4th Business Opens Tuesday With 10 AM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Wheeed, a future cannabis retailer is opening its doors for busimess and the community is invited to attend a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 555 Oppenheimer Dr., Suite 101-A.

While actual cannabis sales are not allowed until April 2022, owner and Los Alamos native Jonathan LeDuc will be operating for five weeks to sell related merchandise, such as locally sourced glass pipes, as well as branded stickers.

It is anticipated that much of LeDuc’s time will be spent having conversations with potential customers and educating them about the laws and ordinances of the new cannabis industry in New Mexico.

Wheeed will be open 10 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
 
The three other Los Alamos Retail Accelerator businesses, Samizdat Bookstore, Little Studio on the Mesa and Inspired Jewelers, all located in the Pop-up Store at 174 Central Park Square, will continue to be open through the holidays and will close on December 31.
