The Summit Garden Club invites the community to a presentation by Alison Grieggs, “Straw Baling Gardening – Tomatoes Program” at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 4 via Zoom.
Learn the steps of how to grow vegetables (specifically tomatoes) in a bale of straw.
The advantages of straw baling:
- No leaning over to care for or pick the vegetable;
- Place the bale anywhere in the yard; and
- Bales retain water.
