Mr. Trambley’s suggested defense of Mr. Trump’s walking away with documents that violated the Presidential Records Act of 1978, at a minimum, is that others did not get prosecuted (link).
In Court, when anybody gets caught in a criminal act, pointing the finger at somebody else who didn’t get prosecuted is not a defense. In fact, finger pointing is something that children do.
Stay on topic, Mr. Trambley. The records in Mr. Trump’s possession needed to be returned to the National Archives where they belong. I support their return. Any other stance is hypocritical.
Clearly, the Nation’s historical record preservation and national security are not your priority, but they are mine.
