AAUW News:

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites the public to its Fall Luncheon Saturday, Sept. 24 in the Gibson Fellowship Hall on the lower level at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2390 North Road.

The luncheon is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., catered by Ruby K’s and costs $15, which can be paid by cash or check written to AAUW- LA.

A featured speaker will be Aubry Rodriguez who attended the AAUW sponsored Tech Trek camp, which introduces young girls to STEM topics (math and science) encouraging them to explore career fields in those areas.

Also, they will share AAUW interest groups (ie. book groups) and Great Decisions where they discuss national and international current topics of interest.
