YMCA News:

The Family YMCA is hosting a Vendor Market Saturday, Nov. 26, which is Small Business Saturday following Thanksgiving.

Vendor registration is now open at the Y, 1450 Iris St., and limited to 40. Every vendor who registers is eligible for a $250 lottery award courtesy of Enterprise Bank & Trust, limit of one chance per vendor, so chances of winning are 1 in 40.

The Y also is creating space for four food trucks on this date and will also hold an additional day for the food trucks Saturday, Dec. 3, during WinterFest.

During WinterFest, trucks may stay open late to accommodate the WinterFest crowd.

The Y is hosting the sale in conjunction with Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Saturday, that aims to encourage local purchases.

The Vendor Sale costs $40 for an 8’ long x 6’ deep space. Vendors are able to rent more than one space, if needed. The Y has 14 spaces available with shared electricity and several wall spaces available.

The sale runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Nov. 26. Set up is the evening before, and early morning Nov. 26.

Vendor fees will support the Y’s financial assistance program.
