LAMTA News:

Los Alamos Music Teachers Association (LAMTA) invites everyone to their annual celebration of the fall season at the Halloween Masquerade Recital 4-5 p.m. Saturday Oct. 29 at Fuller Lodge.

The teachers are looking forward to presenting the following students:

From the studio of Aejin Chang: Serenity Tao, 7; Sydney Chen, 8; Eric Liu, 9; Hannah Li, 10 and Lyla Lo, 10.

From the studio of Patricia Wood: Alicia Chen, 7; Gavin Hu, 7; Annabel Tucker, 9; Santiago Tucker, 10; Justin Lei, 9; Alice Chen, 8; Evan Strohmeyer, 15 and Angel Meng, 13.

From the studio of Ellen Scudder: Nathan Nguyen, 7; Lily Neale, 8; Genevieve Marshall, 10 and Griffin Cabe, 13.

From the studio of Janna Warren: Aniuta Dzuiba; Benjamin Minko; Isaac Aubrey and Alyssa Miller.

From the studio of Wendy Ge: Aylia Stull, 6; Jiadong Guo, 6; Isaac Chu, 7; Evan Fu, 8; Jia Guo, 9; Cindy Fu, 11 and Samantha Kranthijanya, 13.

From the studio of Kim Bakkum: Elizabeth Hsu.

The music will be a wonderful mix celebrating the season as well as selections from Robert Schumann, Stephen Heller and Ludwig Von Beethoven.

A duet and a trio also is included in the evening’s festivities.

New for this year will be performances from students who participated in this year’s District Honors Competition.

Once again, Wendy Strohmeyer will be providing Goody Bags for all the performers.

LAMTA is the local affiliation of the State (PMTNM) and National (MTNA) independent music teachers. All performers are students of teachers who are members of all three organizations.
