Winter has come! That doesn’t mean hibernating until spring – Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) recently released its 2022 100 Days of Winter Activity Guide, which is a total compilation of all the activities and programs scheduled through Feb. 25.

“This is probably the most complete guide of offerings in our community for those who like recreation, educational experiences or outdoor activities,” CSD Director Cory Styron said. “The book literally has something for everyone and every age group.”

Styron said the guide contains information on everything from Winterfest and hockey activities to programs at the aquatic center and library.

He added that the guide also contains activities hosted by the County’s partners including Los Alamos Arts Council, the Bradbury Science Museum and the Nature Center.

“We got a lot of cool stuff,” Styron said.

Not only does the County offer programs to the community but it also has job openings. Styron said the winter guide does advertise open positions.

“We would love great quality people to join our team,” he said.

Hardcopies of the guide are available at County facilities as well as at the County’s partners locations but a digital copy can be found here.
