Many Roles With A Common Goal: Fire Adapted New Mexico Learning Network Releases Informational Video

FACNM News:

SANTA FE — The Fire Adapted New Mexico learning network (FACNM) recently released a 6-minute video showing how many people working together can achieve the common goal of a more wildfire adapted future.

The purpose of the video is to help practitioners understand where they fit into the bigger picture of wildfire preparedness, response, and recovery. The video highlights various roles within a fire adapted community that can help us think past the resident and homeowner level by supporting learning and relationship building between fire departments, local and tribal governments, and state and federal land management agencies.

If you would like to better understand where you might fit into the bigger picture of wildfire preparedness, response, and recovery, this video is a great resource for you.

The Forest Stewards Guild and the Fire Adapted New Mexico Learning Network (FACNM) encourages the public to connect with other practitioners working across different roles by participating in the Fire Adapted New Mexico learning network. There are many ways that you can get involved in the learning network, including subscribing to the bi-weekly Wildfire Wednesday newsletter or applying to be a FACNM member or leader.
