Today is World Read Aloud Day! To celebrate, the star of Los Alamos Light Opera’s production of Matilda will be at the main library in The Zone to read aloud a chapter from Roald Dahl’s novel Matilda and sing a few snippets from the show.

Miss Olivia and Miss Sian will have supplies for making a book and a bookmark to take home. And Miss Melissa is bringing some of the books from her personal pop-up book collection to share with the group.​​​​​​

There’s always something fun at the library on Wednesdays. The community is invited to come to the Zone 1:30-3 p.m., Wednesdays to see what’s up.

Past events have included Legos, paper arts, fiber arts and tabletop games.

What’s Up Wednesday is best for ages 6-11 years old but 5 and under children are welcome with a hands-on caregiver.
