LAHS Topper Wrestling News:
The Los Alamos High School Topper Girls and Boys wrestling teams competed at the State Competition in Rio Rancho.
Jade Blackhart came in 4th place at the State Tournament this year. This was a special moment for her, fulfilling her goal for the year.
“We are proud of the eight young women who represented Los Alamos at the State Tournament,” Girls Head Coach Emily Tew said. “They are a young team of all Freshmen and Sophomores. They all will be back next season and are hungry for more!”
Boys Head Coach Paul Wilson also expressed pride in his team.
“Congratulations to Jackson Blair for placing 3rd at the wrestling state tournament,” Coach Wilson said. “I am proud of the hard work our team put in this year. We are young and the young men improved a great deal throughout the season. I look forward to this offseason and next year. I would like to thank assistant coaches Jeremy Tisdale and Tyler Zollinger, we are lucky to have them in the room.”
