ALBUQUERQUE — Rainbow Ryders, the largest hot air balloon ride company in the United States, has renewed its contract as the official hot air balloon ride concessionaire with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (AIBF) for two more years, with two optional one-year extensions.
This marks the 25th year Rainbow Ryders has worked at the balloon fiesta as a hot air balloon ride operator. For the 2023 event, Rainbow Ryders will have 38 hot air balloons every morning of the nine days of the balloon fiesta and in the afternoons as weather permits.
“AIBF is pleased to continue our business relationship with Rainbow Ryders as Balloon Fiesta’s Official Balloon Ride Concessionaire. As the ‘World’s Premiere Balloon Event,’ many of our guests attend Balloon Fiesta with the desire to be a part of the greatest show in the air,” Sam Parks AIBF Executive Director said. “They accomplish this ‘bucket list’ item as a passenger in a Rainbow Ryder balloon. Scott Appelman, his staff and pilots do a great job providing a safe memorable balloon ride experience for our guests.”
