Immaculate Auto Total Car Care celebrated its first year anniversary Tuesday. CEO and Founder Barbara Christensen opened the business April 4, 2022, in the garage of her home.
Barbara spoke about how her business has evolved over the last 12 months.
“I was a stay-at-home mom for 15 years when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020,” she said. “My husband was working at a local auto shop and was laid off due to the pandemic. He was our only source of income for our family of six. A friend of mine suggested we start detailing cars to help pay our rent. I created Immaculate Auto Detailing and began detailing vehicles in my garage at home so I could still stay home with my kids. I was able to get a certificate as a Ceramic SystemX Detailer and kept advertising my detailing business and customers kept coming.”
In 2022, Barbara was offered a physical location for her shop at 99 DP Road. She said she felt that with an actual shop she and her husband Erik Christensen could grow and expand the business even more.
“I got my team together and created Immaculate Auto Total Car Care,” Barbara said. “My husband is an ASE Master Tech, Subaru Certified Specialist and has a degree as an Automotive Technician with 20 years’ experience. He runs our mechanical side.”
Local resident Kylie Stewart holds a degree in business administration. She joined the team as Chief Financial Officer running the administrative side of the business.
“Together our team runs a one stop shop for all your car care needs,” Barbara said. “Including detailing, waxing, ceramic coating, window tinting, diagnostics and repair, tires, breaks, alignment and general maintenance of your vehicle.”
