New Mexico History Museum Invites Visitors Into Printmaking Process

NMHM News:

The Palace Press at New Mexico History Museum (NMHM) will host “Pull a Print at the Palace Press” 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 7.

Visitors will learn about the historic press and experience hands-on printmaking and “pulling” their own custom print to take home. The print’s design will be Mother’s Day-themed, and envelopes will be provided, as well.

The event is free with admission. And as a reminder, New Mexico residents can enter the museum free on the first Sunday of every month with their ID. You can learn more about this event on the NMHM website

The Palace Press has an important place in New Mexico History Museum’s storytelling about New Mexico history, culture and arts. The event is an opportunity for the Palace Press to share their knowledge of printing history and interact with museum visitors.
