The LAFC Lasers Girls U12 went undefeated in 4 games and were crowned tournament Champions; scoring 12 goals in total with only 1 scored against them. Even more impressive, the 12 goals were scored by 9 different girls! Los Alamos Youth Soccer League sent six girl’s teams to the Durango Shootout over Mother’s Day weekend. Two teams were rom the local U8/9 Precomp program and three from the Comp. program (U11, U12 and U14/15).
The LAFC Girls U8/9 had the two youngest girls’ teams playing in the Durango Shootout and they played some amazing soccer!
Members in the two teams include: Caelia Jaurigue, Vivian Hansana, Gracie Nichols, Natalie Disterhaupt, Maya Tamashiro, Clara Benedict, Grace Allen, Lexie Pack, Ellie Hawkley, Eliana Michel, Austin Sievers, TJ McReynolds, Aubrey Tatro, Johanna Burrows, Mia Lin, Sage Gardner, Charlotte Burns, Billie Martinez, Lauren Gartz, Lexie Wilson, JoJo Burns, and Kristy Torres.
Girls born in 2014/15 and thinking about playing pre-competitive soccer in the Fall are invited to join practices 5 p.m., Monday May 22 at North Mesa and 5 p.m., Wednesday May 24 at Overlook Park to try-it-out.
