Recently, County staff have received six complaints of bicyclists (or the same bicyclist) passing walkers unsafely on Canyon Rim Trail.
If you use Canyon Rim Trail for bicycling, please remember that this is a shared-use trail and to be polite to other users. Remember that simply shouting “on your left” and possibly slowing down when passing would go a long way to make this trail safe for all users.
Also, walkers and runners, please keep in mind that it is a shared-use trail and that running or walking in groups can create issues for cyclists to pass safely.
Thank you!
