Visitors will learn to identify animals commonly found throughout New Mexico. As part of the program, Ranger Mike will have an array of skulls, bones and pelts, which visitors can use as clues for identifying the various species.
Program is included in the price of admission, which is $5 for adults and free for children 16 and younger.
Fort Selden Historic Site regularly hosts ranger programs focused on the flora, fauna, culture, art, architecture and history of Fort Selden and the surrounding area. These programs are fantastic opportunities for visitors to dig deeper!
