WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. Martin Heinrich, (D-NM), Chairman of the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC), released the following statement Tuesday after the Senate confirmed President Biden’s nomination of Dr. Jared Bernstein to serve as Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers.
