COUNTY News:

As part of the 33rd/34th Street Road Improvement Project, the intersection of 33rd and Villa Street will be fully closed June 20-23.

Residents will need to take the alternate route through 32nd Street, then Walnut Street and back to Villa Street through the 33rd/34th loop. 

The closure will take place on 33rd Street from Walnut Street to approximately 500 feet south of the intersection with Villa Street. Villa Street will be closed from the intersection of 34th Street. Please follow traffic control signs and flaggers who will assist with guidance. 

This closure is required to complete multiple utility connections and prepare roadway for paving. The intent for the full closures is to be as short as possible during the summer months, while school is not in session.   

The utility connection will require a water shut off 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 20. 

Motorists on Walnut Street might experience minor delays during concrete deliveries.
