The public is encouraged to attend an informal questions and answers session 5:30-6 p.m., followed by a formal presentation by the project team 6-7 p.m., then a walking tour of the project area that will depart from the board room building promptly at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
The CDD Planning Division has partnered with Wilson & Company to develop conceptual plans for redevelopment options of the County-owned parcels adjacent to the CenturyLink building on 20th Street south of Trinity Drive. The purpose of this project as directed by Council and as allowed by County Code, is to determine the “highest and best use” of this public land to address various deficiencies in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the Housing Market Study, Comprehensive Plan, Downtown Los Alamos Master Plan and Economic Vitality Strategic Plan, while incorporating the Council’s Strategic Leadership Plan and citizen feedback from the 2023 National Community Survey.
Due to the location-specific presentation and tour planned, this meeting will be in-person only. Project materials and visuals will be posted on the project website.
