Atomic City Transit regular scheduled bus service will not operate Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in observance of the holiday.

Atomic City Transit will provide free shuttle service for the Los Alamos Fourth of July event at Overlook Park in White Rock.

Shuttle service will begin at 3 p.m. from Diamond Drive & Canyon Road in Los Alamos and the White Rock Visitor Center on N.M. 4 and Piñon Elementary School parking lot on Grand Canyon Drive in White Rock.

A continuous shuttle service will be provided throughout the event with the last bus leaving Overlook Park at 10 p.m. Paratransit services for certified and registered customers will also be provided, please call the ACT administrative offices to schedule a ride.

Bandelier shuttles will run every 20 minutes for the week of July 4th and will return to 30-minute service on Monday, July 10.

Regular fixed-route service will resume Wednesday, July 5.
