ROSWELL — This year, top UFO journalists, investigators, screenwriters and ex-government officials in the field gather to present facts, theories and new ideas about scientific discoveries and the UAP phenomenon at the Roswell Daily Record’s Roswell Incident event in the Roswell Convention Center during the UFO Festival June 30 through July 2.

Attendees can expect detailed presentations and panel discussions covering contemporary fields of study including disclosure, contact and propulsion theory, as well as UAP events from around the world. Speakers include Nick Pope, David Childress, Jonathan Dover, Stanley Milford Jr., John B. Alexander, Bryce Zabel, Chuck Zukowski and Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN-2).

A special evening event takes place at 9 p.m. July 1 at Cielo Grande Sports Complex. Host of the TV series “UFO Witness” on Discovery+ and the Travel Channel, Ben Hansen and astronomer and chief photo analyst for the Mutual UFO Network, Marc D’Antonio, will lecture about sky-watching techniques while using the latest in military night-vision technology projected live on a large screen for the audience. They will explain how to identify satellites, planes, planets and stars and differentiate those “natural” occurrences from anomalous phenomena.

An assortment of night-vision goggles will be available for participants to try out as well as scopes connected to monitors for viewing. Lawn chairs, blankets, insect spray and water are recommended.
