The acclaimed Shanghai String Quartet will be arriving in Taos Monday to teach during the next two-week session of the Taos School of Music.

The Quartet is coming from China, where the ensemble is on the teaching faculty of the Tianjin Juilliard School in Tianjin.

To support its expansion into Asia, Juilliard built a stunning and significant multipurpose center that provides rehearsal, teaching and performance spaces. The building’s design has been celebrated by many and stands as a monument to Juilliard’s unmatched brand.
