Jonathan Dowell will present his bird photography to the Los Alamos Photo Club at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 at Fuller Lodge.

Since 2019, Dowell has photographed more than 500 bird species across the US and Canada for Cornell University’s eBird citizen-science program.

Tuesday’s lecture will feature photos from Dowell’s recent visits to Kenai Peninsula National Park and Utqiagvik, AK, as well as from Los Alamos, Bosque del Apache, Carlsbad, San Diego, Cave Creek and the epic migration fallout event at High Island in 2021.

Los Alamos Photo Club meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesdays of each month. Both members and the public are invited to enjoy the 30-minute lecture and the air conditioning inside Fuller Lodge.
