Geimers Are Top Predictors In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Months old Iris Geimer and father Paul Geimer were top predictors in the weekly pace race held out on North Mesa at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds with a 9 second differential from their predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were:

  • Mark Bjorklund at 20 seconds off;
  • Ted Atkins, Senior recording a 33 second difference;
  • Priscila Rosa with a 51 second differential; and
  • Roxana Candia at 58 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course Adrian Medin, 12, was the best finisher at 7:29. The first female finisher was Holly Walker recording a 9:05.

In the 5K race Eric Anderson was the top finisher with a time of 20:35 and Adrienne Hetrick was the best female recording a 22:10.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 on American Springs Road off N.M. #4 heading east up in the Jemez approximately 1.6 miles on the right side from the junction of N.M. #4 and N.M. #501 (West Jemez Road) (The Back Gate) and taking a right on to N.M. #4 East at that point.

1 mile and 3 mile runs will be available.
