Adrian Medin Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Adrian Medin, 12, had a perfect prediction for his estimated time as well as the first finisher in the 1 mile race with a time of 7:15 at the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) Pace Race held Tuesday evening on American Springs Road in the Jemez.

Other accurate predictors: 

  • months old Iris Geimer and her father Paul Geimer at 6 seconds off;
  • Priscila Rosa and Steve Daly with a tie at 9 seconds off their predicted time and Priscila also being the best female finisher in the 1 mile distance at 9:57;
  • Connor Orrison with a 18 second differential; and
  • Zeke Wilmot recording a 32 second difference.

On the 3 mile course Lukas Zavokua  was the top finisher recording a 23:37 and Lynn Bjorklund was the first female with a time of 25:39.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 on the Power Line Trail outside of White Rock. The trailhead is approximately 3 miles from the junction of N.M. #4 and Pajarito Road and turning right from Pajarito Road at that junction and heading east on N.M. #4 on the left or can be gotten to alternatively by turning left at the junction of N.M. #501 (West Jemez Road) and N.M. #4 (The Back Gate) and heading west on N.M. #4 for approximately 10 miles on the right.

1 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.
