Mark Bjorklund Is Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Mark Bjorklund was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held Tuesday on the west end of the Canyon Rim Trail with a 7 second differential off his predicted time. 

Other accurate predictors were: 

  • Tony Borek at 38 seconds off;
  • Gannon Parker with a 50 second difference;
  • Sean Thomas recording a 54 second differential; and
  • Roxana Candia and David Wilmot tied at 57 seconds off and Roxana also being the top female finisher in the 3-mile distance at 25:43.

On the 1-mile course Priscila Rosa was the best finisher recording an 8:57 and the first male finisher was Teddy Atkins Jr at 9:40.

Eric Anderson was the top finisher in the 3-mile distance with a time of 19:39.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22 starting at the Aquatic Center trailhead at the parking lot of the Aquatic Center at the junction of Canyon Road and Central Avenue. 

1-mile paved and trail and 3-mile trail runs will be available.
