Jose Correno files for a seat on the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) Advisory Board this afternoon in the Municipal Building. Correno said he teaches business classes part-time at the community college and ‘I  figured I could be of some usefulness in another capacity.’ He added, ‘I just want to see the school thrive and I want to do whatever I can to make that happen.’ Correno said he has taught at UNM-LA for 6 or 7 years and said the college’s faculty and staff are excellent.
