John Pawlak files for a seat on the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) Advisory Board this afternoon in the Municipal Building. As a teacher who taught at Los Alamos High School as well as in Santa Fe and at the New Mexico School of Arts, Pawlak said he appreciates how much education is valued in the community. He added that as a resident of White Rock, he would like to give a voice to White Rock on the advisory board. ‘I just want to be a part of something awe-inspiring,’ Pawlak said.
