ESPAÑOLA — The annual Moving Hearts Gala is set for Saturday, Sept. 23 at Moving Arts Española in Ohkay Owingeh. It is an evening of celebration, curated performances, delectable cuisine, and a gathering of individuals who share a passion for uplifting the youth of Northern New Mexico. The event is accompanied by an online auction that will run from Sept. 20-23 at mae2023.ggo.bid.

The Moving Hearts Gala is the cornerstone of the organization’s annual fundraising efforts. It is an occasion where community members come together to make a difference in the lives of young people in the Española Valley. By attending this gala, guests become an essential part of the transformative power of the arts in our community. The gala features performances that showcase advanced students in the program and includes a sumptuous spread of cuisine, expertly prepared by La Fonda del Sol, guest chefs and the Moving Arts Española Healthy Meals Program.

Every ticket sold, every auction item bid on, and every donation made during the Moving Hearts Gala goes directly toward nurturing the artistic talents and potential of the young people within our community. The money raised makes a lasting impact that helps Moving Arts Española provide opportunities to young people that they may not otherwise have.

“By attending our largest fundraising event of the year, you’re supporting the transformative power of the arts and youth of Española Valley, whose lives are positively impacted by your continued generosity,” said Roger Montoya, Creative Director of Moving Arts Española.

Tickets are available at movingartsespanola.org, and sponsorship opportunities are still open for those looking to leave a mark on our community. The current event sponsors include; Garcia Tire, Del Norte LOV Foundation, Enterprise Bank & Trust, Rio Grande Sun, Century Bank, PMI and Thrive Consulting.
