The Los Alamos Job Fair will be held 12-4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5, at the University of New Mexico – Los Alamos branch campus, at 4000 University Drive in Los Alamos.
Sponsored by TechSource and Century Bank, hosted by UNM-Los Alamos and organized by the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, the Job Fair will feature up to 50 participating businesses that are currently hiring for positions of any level.
Businesses that are hiring may participate by registering at losalamoschamber.com/events/. Registration is limited to the first 50 businesses. Registration will close at 5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 2.
To prepare for the Job Fair, UNM-LA is hosting a Resume Workshop: From Template to Application, 2:45-4:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21, in Lecture Hall 230. Bring a printed copy of your current resume if you would like some personalized support from the advisors.
Whether you are actively looking for a job or not, regularly working on your resume can help you:
- provide evidence for a promotion,
- share your story with a network connection,
- develop skills to make your next job application less difficult,
- be prepared for any opportunities that arise, and more!
