United Church News:

Saturday, Sept. 30 all-things autumn and Halloween will fill Graves Hall at the United Church, 2525 Canyon Road, for the annual Halloween re-sale. This is the place to get a thrifty head-start on costumes, decorations, clothes, books and miscellaneous goods for the autumn holidays.

Parking is by the Thrift Shop across the street from the Nature Center. Find the big Halloween Sale by following the signs to Graves Hall up the elevator in the Christian Education Building.

The Thrift Shop is operated by the Women’s Christian Service Society of the United Church, and is open for shoppers 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays. All proceeds from sales go to support select charities in Northern New Mexico.

Donations of gently used and clean clothes, linens, housewares, jewelry, shoes, toys and books (but not textbooks), may be dropped off any time at the bins near the Thrift Shop door off of Canyon Road. Please, NO textbooks, large appliances, furniture or VHS tapes.

Volunteers for sorting, pricing and working on sale days are always welcome and needed to support  outreach to Northern New Mexico. Ask the workers at the Halloween Sale on Saturday about volunteering throughout the year.
