The Family YMCA Kathak Program presents “Dances of India” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 at Duane Smith Auditorium. Indian snacks will be available for purchase during intermission.

The theme for the 2023 Dances of India is Nritta-Nritya and will feature highlights from past Dances of India shows presented by The Family YMCA Kathak program students and guest dancers.

No tickets are required, donations are welcomed. All proceeds from the show will go to The Family YMCA’s youth programs.

The YMCA has a motto: “We don’t turn anyone away for their inability to pay.”

This year the YMCA has a fundraising goal of $175,000 that will support financial assistance through need-based scholarships for childcare, memberships and youth programs; as well as program support for The Y Teen Centers in Los Alamos and Española.
