Los Alamos County, in coordination with its transit partners (Atomic City Transit, New Mexico DOT Park & Ride, North Central Regional Transit District and Los Alamos National Laboratory), has partnered with consulting firm Stantec to evaluate locations for a potential new transit center in Los Alamos and/or White Rock.
Los Alamos County invites the local and regional community to take part in a survey regarding existing and future transit use and preferences.
The 15-question survey will take approximately 8 minutes to complete, and will be available until 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023. The public is encouraged to participate and take the survey. The community’s input is invaluable and appreciated.
This survey is the first step in a 6-month study that will evaluate potential locations for new transit centers. The transit center(s) will provide connection between different bus lines and could include park and ride and new mixed-use development. The evaluation process will also include additional opportunities for public input, which will be publicized once scheduled.
Direct questions regarding this survey or the study to County Project Manager Keith Wilson at keith.wilson@lacnm.us or 505.663.1757.
