Update: The Truck Route has re-opened to traffic.

LAPD Traffic Alert:

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) reports black ice and multiple accidents near Mile Marker 8  on the Truck Route.

The truck route is down to one lane westbound.

LAPD is advising motorists to slow down and also to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
