Los Alamos Opera Guild News:
The community is invited to join the Los Alamos Opera Guild for a special presentation titled, “Enhancing the Music – Costumes and Props from the Santa Fe Opera” by Santa Fe Opera Costume Director Blair Gulledge and Props Director Eileen Garcia.
The presentation is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at Fuller Lodge.
Gulledge and Garcia will provide a glimpse of how costumes and props enhance the music of the Santa Fe Opera productions. This special “show and tell” is sure to intrigue, surprise and enrich. Last year’s presentation gave the guild a look at plans for the new opera season.
All are welcome to attend this free event. Guild memberships will be available. Membership dues support the Community Engagement Department of the Santa Fe Opera, which offers programs such as Young Voices, the Pueblo Opera Program and Youth Night at the Opera.
