DCA News:

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) hosts Lunar New Year 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 at Museum of International Folk Art. 

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon and Asian New Year traditions. Free admission for NM residents all day.

The theme will be the ‘Asian Lunar New Year’. The hands-on art activity will be making printed cards and origami.

Families are invited to stay for the free Museum-wide celebration of the Lunar New Year starting at 1 p.m., featuring the Quang Minh Temple Lion Dance Group Parade at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. and Taiko Drumming performance at 2 and 3 p.m. by Santa Fe Wadaiko.
