Swim Lessons For All Ages At Los Alamos Aquatic Center

Los Alamos County Aquatic Center has announced that swim lessons are being offered by two contractors, 505 Swimming LLC from Santa Fe and Anna Zhang from Los Alamos. Both contractors will be providing group and individual lessons for various ages and skill levels.

505 Swimming was created in 2022 in Santa Fe with the mission of increasing the availability of life-saving swim instruction in the community. Their team is composed of instructors who have a passion and demonstrated talent for working with children and are certified as swim instructors through either the Red Cross or Swim Lessons University, in addition to being certified in CPR or lifeguarding through the Red Cross.

505 Swimming’s schedule is built out to the end of March, offering private & group lessons:

  • 4-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursdays
  • 4-6:30 p.m., Fridays
  • 9-11:30 a.m., Saturdays

Additional schedule details and times past March will be posted as that information becomes available.

Anna Zhang is a local, certified USA Swim Coach and has been providing swim lessons at the Aquatic Center for many years. She enjoys teaching young students to swim, from elementary age to high school. Zhang’s schedule is built out until mid-March, offering private lessons 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays.  Additional schedule details and times past March will be posted as that information becomes available.
