In 2023 Enterprise Bank & Trust provided the first $100,000 of a $300,000 donation to United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) to support the important work the nonprofit conducts throughout the community. The bank presented its second $100,000 donation during the 2024 UWNNM Board Retreat held Feb. 15 at UNM-Los Alamos. Accepting the donation from left, Board Chair Liddie Martinez who is also President – Los Alamos Region & Director of Community Engagement at Enterprise Bank & Trust, UWNNM Marketing Director and Grantmaking Process Coordinator Jeremy Varela, Executive Director Cindy Padilla, Associate Director for Community Engagement Beverly Post and Associate Director for Corporate Engagement Donna Milanovich. ‘It has been my honor to serve and support the United Way of Northern New Mexico for many years. I have seen firsthand the remarkable impact the organization has in our region,’ Chair Martinez said. ‘When you serve lunch at the soup kitchen, watch the kids at the rural libraries plug into the internet to do research or have one-on-one tutoring assistance for a subject they are struggling with, it gives me hope. I know we can make a difference when we invest collectively.
