Weather permitting, the repair of a gas line in White Rock is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26. The work will begin at 8:30 a.m. and should last no later than 4 p.m.

A crew with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will be digging up a gas main to fix the gas service line to 37 Grand Canyon Dr., between Canyon Vista Street and Mesa Verde Street.

Officials at DPU would like to remind drivers that when work begins on Tuesday, they should expect to see flagging operations and Grand Canyon traffic reduced to one lane as they approach the work zone.

The line will be repaired by DPU Gas Water Sewer (GWS) Services.
