Deborah Jackson Taffa will speak about her new memoir Whiskey Tender at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 14 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos.

Her book addresses some of the complex race and class issues that she faced growing up in a mixed indigenous family near Farmington.

Copies of her book will be for sale at the presentation. Light refreshments will be served.

This Forum presentation is part of a program that is intended to promote knowledge and understanding among members of the broader community in the Los Alamos area.
