2024 Summer Concert Series Lineup

COUNTY News:

          • Explore Arts & Culture in Los Alamos—Where Discoveries Are Made

Los Alamos, known as the birthplace of groundbreaking scientific discoveries and the former home of J. Robert Oppenheimer, is the place to be this summer. The area isn’t only for history, science and film buffs, but also for families and live music enthusiasts of all ages.

For music lovers, look no further than the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series. Running from late May through August, the series features free concerts at Ashley Pond Park. On scheduled Friday evenings, local and regional musical acts in a variety of genres will take the stage, while attendees mingle, sing along, and enjoy the show, and take in the beautiful atmosphere of downtown Los Alamos.

“For those visiting Los Alamos for the first time due to their love of the film Oppenheimer, there’s much more to our town than meets the eye,” said Los Alamos County Marketing Specialist Ellyn Felton. “This summer, after you visit our museums and three National Parks to learn more about our history and The Manhattan Project, stick around for live entertainment. If you live in a nearby city, come up for a free Friday night concert and spend the weekend getting back to nature or learning about local history.”

Los Alamos Summer Concert Series lineup:

  • May 24 – The Powell Brothers
  • May 31 – The Foggy Memory Boys
  • June 7 – Those Crazy Nights: A Tribute to Journey
