TSoM Alumni Perform In Taos With Nina Lee April 20-21

TSOM News:

This upcoming weekend is one of the most exciting of the year for the TSoM! We’re bringing back to Taos four recent School alumni to perform several concerts and teach local elementary students in Taos. Mentoring and performing alongside the alumni is faculty member Nina Lee, cellist of the acclaimed Brentano Quartet. The ensemble has been hard at work preparing on the East Coast, and they’re thrilled to see you in Taos.

The TSoM is committed to engaging with the Taos community throughout the year, and we’re proud of the impact this visit will have. The alumni will share interactive musical presentations with nearly 500 elementary students in Taos, perform a private concert for seniors at the Taos Retirement Village, and perform two inspiring concerts on the Taos Chamber Music Group (TCMG) series at the Harwood Museum.

On the TCMG concert program is Schubert’s wonderous Cello Quintet – widely considered to be amongst the greatest chamber music works ever composed. We hope to see you at a concert this exciting weekend!
