Scenes From Drums Alive® Event At Chamisa School

Chamisa Elementary School Physical Education Teacher Justin Black participates with students in a special Drums Alive® event April 30 in the gymnasium at Chamisa Elementary School. Drums Alive® joins the dynamic movements of aerobic dance with the pulsating rhythms of the drum. It is a unique sensory/motor program that is designed to give the mind and body instant feedback through continuous movement and rhythmical flow. Drums Alive® utilizes ‘whole brain – whole body’ thinking by developing sensory motor reflexes and kinesthetic awareness. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
