Dirty Dogs Contest News:

The 13th annual Dirty Dogs Contest is coming down the homestretch. There are 10 finalists including Giuseppe at Española Humane. Giuseppe arrived to Española Humane trapped in five pounds of matted fur, which covered up a host of health issues and rendered him unable to walk.

Vote for Giuseppe once a day through 11:59 pm CST on Friday, May 31. The shelter of the dog with the most votes receives $10,000, $3,000 for the second most votes and $2,000 for third most votes. Vote here.

This contest, made possible through donated grooming supplies and a partnership between Greater Good Charities, Wahl Pets, and The Animal Rescue Site, shows some of the best doggie makeovers from across the country.
