ALBUQUERQUE – In response to the recent increase in violence involving juveniles carrying and using firearms in downtown Albuquerque, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) have increased their support to the Albuquerque Police Department by deploying additional officers 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
The increased presence aims to enhance public safety and curb the violence occurring in the area.
