ACRR News:
James Zola was the best predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race Tuesday on the Power Line Point Trail off N.M. 4. He had a 14 second differential off his predicted time and was also the first finisher in the 3-mile race at 22:16.
Other accurate predictors were:
- Priscila Rosa recording a 32 second difference;
- Deana Tsang at 36 seconds off;
- Sasha Tomalak with a 39 second differential; and
- Cliff Stanley coming in at 67 seconds off.
In the 1-mile distance:
- Sean Thomas with favorite dog Zoe was the best finisher with a time of 12:39.
In the 2-mile course:
- Becky Chamberlin was the best finisher recording a 26:34; and
- Ted Atkins, Senior, was the first male at 44:21.
On the 3-mile course:
- Madeline Harms was the top female with a time of 27:36.
Next week’s race will start on Range Road to the left at the fire station off Diamond Drive heading North toward the traffic circle between Barranca Mesa and North Mesa and with the start before the Guaje Pines Cemetery entrance.
1 mile paved and 3-mile trail races will be available.
